Building Grand Vision out of Small Gaps — We Shall See.
At Shall See Theater, we believe that the smallest cracks can give birth to the most powerful stories. Rooted in East Asian aesthetics and committed to cross-cultural exchange, we create space for bold, intimate, and borderless storytelling. As a nonprofit theater organization based in New York City, we are dedicated to empowering artists—especially those of East and Southeast Asian heritage—and connecting communities through live performance, education, and artistic innovation.
We are currently expanding our team and seeking passionate, thoughtful, and collaborative individuals who believe in the transformative power of theater. Whether you're an artist, producer, administrator, or educator, if you're excited by the idea of building something meaningful from the margins—of turning small gaps into grand creations—we warmly invite you to apply.
Come shape the future of Shall See Theater with us.

Equity and Inclusion Statement
Shall See Theater is committed to fostering an inclusive, equitable, and actively anti-oppressive environment for all artists, staff, and audiences. We believe that powerful storytelling is rooted in diverse perspectives and that representation matters—not only onstage, but in every corner of our organization.
As a theater rooted in East Asian aesthetics and cross-cultural dialogue, we are especially dedicated to amplifying the voices of Asian, Asian American, and historically underrepresented communities in the arts. We welcome applicants of all races, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, ages, abilities, religions, citizenship statuses, and backgrounds. We are actively working to create a space where all individuals feel respected, valued, and empowered to do their best work.
We strongly encourage candidates from historically marginalized communities to apply, and we are committed to making Shall See Theater a place where your story, your labor, and your identity are seen.
